San Francisco Engagement Photoshoot
Matt and I go WAYYYYYYY back! So when he asked if I would photograph his and Ayesha’s San Francisco engagement photos, I was over the moon excited. I immediately got on the phone with them and we brainstormed for their engagement session and location. Since these two currently living in San Francisco, we decided that we would be tourists and go sightseeing at some of the most iconic spots that San Francisco has to offer. Let me just tell you, the day was just perfect! We really got to capture this time in their life in the city that started their whole relationship.
I met them at their apartment and they drove me to Potrero Hills. They took me to one of the local wine bar where they like to spend their time and decompress with a drink or two. We hung out for a bit and talked about their love story. They call it “California chai latte meets classic New York bagel.” I mean! How adorable is that??!??! We then took a few cutesy photos in the streets before headed over to Fort Point where were quickly ran in since it was about to close. The security guard was extremely kind and showed us around! It was windy and cold, but if you know me, you know that’s when I think the magic happens 😉 As if that wasn’t enough, we then hit up Chrissy Field and Lovers’ Lane. Took a little break to warm up and get our bellies full over some delicious food. Since it was about to be golden hour, we hopped back in the car and zoomed over to Sutro Baths. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This was my first time there, as well as theirs. And boy oh boy! It was just magical!
To say that we accomplished a lot this day, would be an understatement. Looking forward to seeing these two next month for their wedding!
