Sacramento Wedding at The Firehouse
I am finally getting around to blogging Vivi and Jason’s Sacramento wedding. Saturday will be their one year anniversary. So I thought, what better time then to blog about their special day! So happy one year anniversary to these two love birds!
I had opportunity to meet this couple when I was asked to shoot along with Nhat from Epic Love Stories on their special day. Vivi and Jason has been together for almost two decades and finally decided to make it official at the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament in Downtown Sacramento. If you have not had the chance to visit this church, you really should. It’s definitely one of the most well known church in Sacramento and it is easy to see why. It is so gorgeous both inside and out.
They celebrated with all their friends and family afterwards with a small and low key reception at the Firehouse Restaurant. Their outdoor area was like a little oasis with gorgeous green vines covering their brick walls. It’s hard to believe that this was in the heart of Old Sac. Well…it was pretty low key until DJ Bobby Brown turned up his music and it got everyone moving. I mean, it was crazy! I watched the security turn away several groups of people who thought it was a night club and were ready to get in on the action.
What I loved most about the couple was just how happy they were to be in the presence of each other. And I don’t mean the attached, over the top, stuck to each other kind of way. You can see the confidence that they had in each other. Even when they were not next to each other, you knew they still had each other on their mind. It’s hard to explain, but you can just see it when you are around these two.
