San Francisco City Hall Elopement

Charles reached out to me with the idea for him and his fiancee, Amy, to elope in the redwoods. It would be a special, intimate elopement with just the two of them and their dog, Bandit, present. They eventually ended up changing the date and deciding on a civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall . However, they still wanted to include the redwoods that they love in the celebration of their marriage.

What we ended up crafting up for their elopement incorporated all of the elements that were important to them. We started the morning with the first look, outside of San Francisco City Hall. They had their parents and siblings at San Francisco City Hall for the ceremony. We took some pictures there before we headed over to the redwoods to take some more special photos with Bandit. Canine family members weren’t allowed at San Francisco City Hall. So the redwoods allowed them to include Bandit in their special day, at a beautiful setting.

They had a friend bring Bandit to meet us at the redwoods and we were able to get some family photo with him. It was a beautiful day, and I had so much fun watching them in their element with each other. It’s so special to have the opportunity to go through a journey like this with them. I feel honored to have been able to craft this perfect day for them. Their love and their intentions really guided their choices for the day and make it exactly what they had dreamed of.

They had lunch with family after the wedding ceremony, they got to include Bandit in their celebration, and afterwards they took a mini honeymoon in San Diego. I’ve spent a lot of time with them in this process, talking and getting to know them, and I’m just so excited for them and whatever comes next. I feel devastated that I won’t be able to attend their reception later this year and capture the next round of precious wedding moments, but I know it will be beautiful and I wish them the very best. It has been such a pleasure working with them and their families to start their marriage off with the perfect elopement day.
